$35

This was somebody's couch.  Now it's in a thrift shop. The entire backdrop of a person's childhood, or their early marriage or their dying days. And now it could be yours for less than the cost of a tank of gas. Is this totally wrong, or utterly right? Its iconic 1970s stripe, smooth wood grain, pull-out function all quietly scream for the attention of a new buyer.

I feel sad standing next to it. The way you might if you stand outside the gorilla enclosure at the zoo and wonder if you're on the right side of the glass.
