sewing mania

If only sewing produced great abs and a strong heart, I'd be posting youtube videos of myself in a half shirt showing off the latest fitness craze.  I love the way I can get lost (literally) in trying to make something as perfect as what I see in my mind.  Usually I fail, but it's all about process, baby.  I actually think there are a lot of similar impulses between writing and sewing.  Neither, however, will tone any muscles outside the hand/wrist region.  Nuts.
